Sweater, shirt (old, similar), jeans, boots, purse, sunglasses
It’s officially spring and it’s already very hot here in Florida. I’ve started breaking out my dresses and shorts after a long, dreary winter in Gainesville. But, I thought I’d share another winter-inspired look for any ladies still up North.
This outfit is perfect for transitioning your wardrobe into spring. I’ve been having fun layering my sweaters (cropped ones, too!) over longer shirts to create a new look.
On another note, I’m so happy it’s the weekend! Even though I have a lot of homework to catch up on, at least it’s sunny and I can enjoy the weather outside (even if it means reading for class at the same time!). Happy Saturday, everyone!
Gap dress (old, similar), Balenziaga bag (a cute option), Wear Lex earrings (old), Repetto ballet flats (similar)
Lately, I’ve been loving throw-on-and-go dresses. This Gap shirtdress, which I picked up last summer, is a perfect example of an easy outfit piece. I love how it looks with a belt and some fun accessories.
The weather’s been great in Florida and I am loving the extra hour of daylight we have! I’m so excited to start bringing out all my dresses and shorts from the back of my closet again. I’m totally ready for summer now!
J Crew Factory dress (old, similar), Lilly Pulitzer clutch, Ray Ban sunglasses, Sam Edelman sandals, David Yurman bracelet
Can you feel spring right around the corner?? I definitely can here in Florida and I am so happy about that. It was a cold winter in Gainesville (not as cold as the north, but still) and the sun is finally back! I wore this look to lunch one day with my boyfriend out by the beach. I love how casual maxis feel but can still look dressed-up.
I also brought along my new Lilly clutch that I’m obsessed with! You might not be able to see in the pictures, but it says “I’d rather be at the beach”, which couldn’t be any more true. It’s perfect for the summer.
